Manual and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

In this course you will utilize literature to help direct treatment using manual and IASTM of your choice coupled with the 5 Concepts of FAKTR.

You will learn when this Concept should not be utilized and when patients should be referred to another discipline for further evaluation or diagnostic testing appropriate to the perceived diagnosis.

Also understand the 5 Concepts of FAKTR as demonstrated in class (knowing this is a very brief introduction and not designed to reflect a complete and thorough knowledge necessary to become fully qualified without appropriate training). Training in both manual and other IASTM programs will make it much easier to grasp the FAKTR Concepts but is NOT mandatory.
