Dr. Dan Murphy has had more than 34 years of practice experience. He received his Diplomat in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1986. Since 1982, he has served as part-time undergraduate faculty at Life Chiropractic College West, where he is currently teaching classes to seniors in the Management of Spinal Disorders. His academic rank at the college is that of Professor. Dr. Murphy is on the post-graduate faculty of several chiropractic colleges. He has taught more than 1,400 post-graduate continuing education seminars worldwide.
Dr. Dan Murphy is a contributing author to several books and has written a quarterly column in the American Journal of Clinical Chiropractic, with more than 80 columns appearing to date. In 1987, 1991 and 1995 Dan Murphy received the “Post-Graduate Educator of the Year” award, given by the International Chiropractic Association. In 2003, Dr. Murphy was awarded “Chiropractor of the Year” by Chiropractic Biophysics. This award is most prestigious because Chiropractic Biophysics has more chiropractic research studies published in the scientific literature than any other chiropractic group. From 2003-2009 Dan Murphy was the Vice President of the International Chiropractic Association. He was honored to be chosen as “Chiropractor of the Year” for the International Chiropractic Association, May 2009 -2010.

Dr. Alan K. Sokoloff is the owner/clinic director of the Yalich Clinic Performance and Rehabilitation in Glen Burnie, MD, where he has practiced for over 31 years. He is the current president of the Professional Football Chiropractic Society. He continues to be the team chiropractor for Baltimore Ravens of the NFL since 1999. He holds a post-graduate degree as a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Dr. Sok has been a member of the University of Maryland Sports Medicine Team since 1991. He is also the team chiropractor for the Baltimore Orioles AA Team Bowie, MD.

The Role of Nutrition and Reduction of Infection in the Promotion of Cognitive Health in the Athlete

Dr. Cindy M. Howard has been in private practice and for 20 years in Chicago, Illinois. She has also been consulting privately for the past three year. She holds a diplomat in Internal Disorders and Nutrition. Currently she is also the director for Aligned Modern Health overseeing 12 clinics and their functional medicine department. She is the delegate for Illinois for the American Chiropractic Association and the President of the College of Pharmacognosy and Toxicology. She also serves as the director of functional medicine for Neurosport Elite in Davie, Florida where she is also licensed. Dr. Howard teaches all over the country on topics including Concussion, Nutrition, GI disorders, Blood interpretation, Endocrinology, Immunology, Female and Male Pelvic Disorders, and how to increase patient compliance through better communication and improving your patient visit.

Drew McClure, DC

Advanced Extremity Adjusting Technique

Dr. McClure will teach you new adjusting techniques for the management of extremity subluxations as well as review and update best practices based on current science and clinical experience. You will leave with a review of diagnosis and management of extremity subluxations including cutting-edge adjustments as well as some soft-tissue and taping techniques.

Dr. Drew McClure’s chiropractic experience began slightly after birth with an exam and treatment by his father. As the son of a chiropractor, he grew up experiencing the healing power of the profession, and began learning manual adjusting techniques as a teenager. He has traveled around the USA with his father, helping thousands of chiropractors learn McClure adjusting techniques – amassing a vast practical knowledge in the process. Dr. Drew moved to San Jose from southwestern Colorado to attend school at Palmer College of Chiropractic West and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Upon his graduation in 2013 he was awarded the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award, and shortly after started Whole Body Chiropractic in San Jose.

Dr. Kyle Prusso is the director of clinics at the Palmer Chiropractic Clinics based on Palmer College of Chiropractic’s West campus. A 2003 graduate of Life Chiropractic College West, Dr. Prusso maintained a private practice in Oakland prior to joining the San Jose campus faculty in 2012. He was appointed to his current position in March 2015. Dr. Prusso is the chiropractic consultant for the Oakland Raiders, a role he has held since 2005. During his association with the Raiders, Dr. Prusso has served two terms as president of the Professional Football Chiropractic Society (PFCS), an organization that includes the team chiropractors for every franchise in the National Football League (NFL). Dr. Prusso has experience in the growing trend of corporate-based health care (serving two years as chiropractor at the AMP Wellness Center in Santa Clara), and he was one of the D.C.s selected to the multidisciplinary team that provided care for athletes at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.

He holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic, PhD(abd) in Exercise Science, Master’s of Science in Exercise Science, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport Management and Health Fitness. Chris has over 20 years of experience in sport and clinical sciences. He has over authored and co-authored several peer reviewed publications and has presented his work across the U.S., Central and South America, China, and Europe in many different venues. He has been a consultant to several manufacturers, clinicians, athletes, and coaches at all levels. Proulx is a licensed chiropractor, certified athletic trainer, and certified strength and conditioning specialist.
